What Sonorium does.
A channel plays a theme on a set of speakers. Run up to 10 at once, each with its theme and speakers.
A theme is a set of recordings, such as rain, thunder and wind, that Sonorium layers into one ambient soundscape.
Each recording plays all the time (Background), now and then (Intermittent), or all the time at a volume that keeps changing (Ebb & Flow). Groups make recordings take turns, crossfade into one continuous bed, or play together.
A preset is a saved version of a theme's mix: the same storm with the thunder off, or the rain louder. Switching presets glides from one mix to the other, and two channels can play the same theme with different presets.
Save a theme, with its recordings, presets and sequences, as one zip file to back it up or share it. Importing the file adds the theme to another Sonorium.
Plugins add features to Sonorium, such as importing themes from other sources.
Every speaker on a channel plays the same stream, in step. A speaker added later joins where the stream is, like tuning in to a radio station.
Add or remove a channel's speakers while it plays. The others carry on without a break.
A sequence glides through a theme's presets, like a mild summer storm that becomes a heavy one. A playlist plays themes one after another.

Ambient soundscapes aren't just background noise—they're tools for wellbeing.
Sonorium was created by someone who is AuDHD (autism + ADHD) and needs ambient sound to function. Background audio quiets the part of the brain that's really good at distracting everything else.
